Dispatch from the Tropics: LINK in Costa Rica #2

It's snowing here in Crestone today, but it looks like the LINK students are enjoying some nice tropical weather. Thomas forwarded these pictures via Steve Duplantier, the school's main contact in Costa Rica, for posting on the blog. (Be sure to click on each picture for a larger image!)

Traveling down the stream bed to a wonderful swimming hole.

We looked for fossils in the creek bed near La Gaurdia and talked about environmental trends according to recent geologic time.

We went for a walk and horse rides to a pacific ocean overlook but it was too cloudy to see. But we will be going there tomorrow.

Grass skiing was tricky because the grass was not quite wet enough.

Another wonderful day!
