Middles School hits the Road!

Charlie and the Middle School class got a loving send-off from parents as they head out on their Great Rivers Trip. The group will be conducting water testing along the Arkansas and Mississippi rivers, and will do a beach clean up along the Gulf of Mexico at Bay St. Louis, MS. Along the way they will stop at fish hatcheries, historic Bent's Fort and Dodge City, and once in New Orleans they will tour the levee systems and the French Quarter, Honey Island Swamp, and sister school Brock Elementary. They called this morning just east of Pueblo, not far from Lajunta, having had a good night's sleep and looking forward to Bent's Fort tour. They will post from the road as they go, so keep checking for updates and pics!
