Kailee's Recap
On Wednesday we helped at the Louisiana Children’s Museum. I enjoyed this because it was the first time I felt like I was helping.
Yesterday we went to Brock Elementary. The kids were so cute. As we assembled the bookshelves outside classes would pass by opened-mouthed and pointing. Working with students was so much fun. They are so welcoming and by the end of the Boogaloo we had most of the third and fourth grade students engaged and participating. It felt really good to make all those kids so happy. Later in the afternoon we went back to Nobel Heart horse ranch where we were staying. I got to ride a horse named Jasmine, run around a dry clay pit, climb thirty-seven feet into a deciduous tree and made a new best friend named Basha who is a Great Dane (below).
