Opening Day Ceremonies

Students, staff and families joined one another on the West Campus to mark the start of a new school year. Taiko drummers performed vigorous opening music as students circled together. Thomas led the group in a game that asked the person in the middle of the circle to name one true thing about themselves--like they were wearing the color blue--and all those in the circle who shared the same truth had to move to a new position in the circle! Great, big group get-to-know-you fun.
