Not a food chain--a food web!

 
 
 
I peaked in on the excitement in Primary Class yesterday. Thomas Cleary, our school wide science instructor and outdoor ed teacher was hosting a wonderful, tactile, multi-layered lesson on bio-diversity and the food web shared by plants and animals in the natural environment. After weaving an actual web, students could tug and feel the tugs of all the interconnections!
