Middle School leaves for ROCK Trip

Middle School students left for their first overnight at our outdoor ed center in Saguache County. ROCK is our Regional Outdoor Center for Knowledge. This year we have plans for students to create field plots, gather base line data of plants and animals in the ROCK, do water stream studies, and rock climbing. I understand that "johnny cakes" was on the menu for this trip! Here are pictures of kids packing the van, getting prepped on "no-trace" camping, and parent chaperone, Scott Hepburn, waving bye! The group will be back Monday for end-of-school pick up. Posted by Picasa
