Comments Welcome!
Welcome friends, family, and interested Crestonians. We've got a varied group looking at this blog. Some of our less techy friends and family wanted to know how to read and post comments. Even less techy friends didn't even notice the comments area (hey, dad).
There is a different 'Comments' section associated with each blog entry. To read them, first find the link at the bottom-right of any post. It will look like this: 0 Comments (The number, of course, indicates how many comments have been posted thus far... also, don't actually click on the one in this paragraph, find its cousin at the end of this post)
If you click on that, a new window will open. Read and enjoy.
Now, for initiates who would like to join the illuminati, you can also participate in the blog by adding comments of your own. This is pretty easy. Once the window is open, you'll find 3 sections beneath the log of everyone else's comments:
There is a large box for you to type in your text.
Below the text area, there is a 'Choose your identity' section. You'll be asked to either sign-in (helpful if you want your name to show up) or login as anonymous. If you don't want to go through the hassle of creating an online account, then you can simply enable the 'anonymous' option. If you login and create an identity, you'll be stepped through the fairly simple process.
Finally, when you're done commenting, you can click the [Preview] button to see what your comments will look like, or the [Publish] button to save your comments.
Other readers will be able to see what you wrote, so be nice. Also, we will be moderating these comments just in case, and will not publish anything rude or abusive.
OK, ready? The link you need to click on is right below this sentence, and to the right. Give it a try.

It will be spring when you guys get home! I wish I could smell the leaves, ocean and blossoms you will experience. The comment about the drunk couple was hilarious. Caitlin, let me know what you hear from your brother. Take lots of cool pictures. Love, Mom Winter

Your town in the mountains of Colorado may be small, as you say. But your imagination, energy, follow-through, sense of adventure, compassion, and ethical convictions are huge.

This is from Reynold...... When I read or see stuff that is truly heartfelt I tend to get weepy. I'm sitting in the office weeping about all your comments. Stay safe and come home with a new view of the world and yourselves. What stories you have........
